Plussers are remembering Jack Tramiel and reminiscing about their first experience on a Commodore 64 computer -- "a powerful yet affordable home computer" that shaped the lives of many young and new computer users at the time. "Remembering Jack Tramiel, a serious PC Pioneer and the founder of Commodore," say G+'ers, "[w]ho knows what I'd be doing without Jack today." Plussers are also asking their followers if Facebook's Instagram acquisition is making them change their minds about using the image-sharing service over privacy concerns. Next-generation iPhone (aka the "iPhone 5" or "new iPhone") rumors have hit the web and are spreading around Google's social network. The latest wave of iPhone rumors suggest that the device will sport a modified Apple chip, a sleek new "unibody" design and a bigger display. Some reports claim that the handset will be launched in June, others say it won't be out until August or September while others still say consumers won't get their hands on the next gen iPhone until October. Google showed off the latest developer version of Chrome OS, its web browser-based operating system. The new release offers a load of new features and security improvements but more importantly is said to combine elements of iOS and Windows -- making it look even more like a desktop-based operating system. "Chrome OS now has a desktop, a taskbar, apps are placed on the desktop, there's support for wallpapers and overlapping windows," said G+'ers who had tested the developer version of Chrome OS.
