In honor of the humble dairy based snack @markcampbell tweets "let's have a toast to National Grilled Cheese Day," while other are tweeting images of their attempts at recreating this classic snack.
Other Twitter users are looking forward to Friday using the trending topic "Tomorrow is Friday"; some are using this topic to rehash Rebecca Black jokes while others are expressing concern at the fact Friday falls on the 13th -- traditionally considered an unlucky date.
News that Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling's new book, The Casual Vacancy, will be released on September 27 has also sparked a stir, pushing both "J.K Rowling's" and "thecasualvacancy" into the top ten trending topics.
