"Please tell me that this is an April Fool's Day joke," says a Google+ (G+) user while others post that Kutcher's role in the film is "no joke."
The biopic "chronicles Jobs' life from a wayward hippie to the co-founder of Apple" explains IMDB, but plussers have doubts that Ashton Kutcher is the right man to portray Steve Jobs.
Google Maps' April Fools' Day joke has gone viral on Google+ as people share their favorite 8-bit landmarks and find hidden monsters. The company created an 8-bit beta version of its mapping platform for Nintendo Entertainment Systems (NES) owners as an April Fools' joke.
"Happy April Fools!" said Google Maps via its Google+ account, "While we don't really have a NES game coming we do hope you enjoyed exploring Google Maps 8-bit."
A second joke innovation was introduced by Google on April 1: Gmail Tap. The feature replaces the standard virtual keyboard seen on Android devices with a two-button dot and dash Morse code keyboard.
Yet another April Fools' Day joke has caught the attention of G+ers. Much to the delight of internet users, Canadian airline WestJet announced that it was introducing child-free flights for adults and the Kargo Kids travel program for children.
The trailer for the 2012 version of Total Recall, starring Colin Farrell, has arrived on the web and plussers are sharing it with their followers.
