| Top Google+ trends: Dell stops selling smartphones in US, Apple posters in China Mar 30th 2012, 09:31 AFP Relax News – 1 hr 59 mins ago Google+ (G+) users report that Dell may cease selling smartphones in the US for good after the company announced that it would stop selling its Venue and Venue Pro smartphones (its only two smartphones on sale) in the country. "Is computer giant Dell already done in the US smartphone market?" asked G+'ers while others said, "The tough world of Smartphones: Dell get out while Apple triumphs, Google struggles and RIM dies." Apple is rumored to be setting up the world's biggest Apple Flagship Store in Dalian, China, but its initial advertising campaign has gone awry after shopping center security guards started fighting over Apple Store posters. Google+ users are linking to videos of the bizarre scene. Google has released version 18 of its Chrome web browser, bringing improved graphics and lots of bug fixes. The Fair Labor Association has released the results of its investigation into work conditions at Foxconn, one of Apple's major suppliers in China, finding that workers at the factories are often subject to unpaid overtime, excessive working hours and insufficient safety protocols. Apple has pledged to improve working conditions in its Chinese-based factories. "We appreciate the work the FLA has done to assess conditions at Foxconn and we fully support their recommendations," said the company in a statement.
