AFP Relax News – 1 hr 11 mins ago Google has introduced automatic translation in its web-based email service Gmail.
The feature has graduated from Google's experimental feature set in Gmail Labs into a permanent Gmail feature. Gmail users can now easily translate emails written in a foreign language into their native language without leaving the site.
"Over the next few days, everyone who uses Gmail will be getting the convenience of translation added to their email," wrote Google on its Apps blog. "The next time you receive a message in a language other than your own, just click on Translate message in the header at the top of the message, and it will be instantly translated into your language."
In other Google news, the USA Department of Interior has reportedly transferred 90,000 federal employees over to Google Apps (which includes Google services such as Gmail, Docs and Calendar) in what G+'ers are calling a blow to Microsoft.
A new trailer for the final Batman movie "The Dark Knight Rises" has hit the web and Google+ users are hastily sharing it with their followers, saying, "The Avengers who?" G+'ers are also posting an unofficial Lego version of a previous trailer on their news feed.
The first trailer for Activision's newly announced Call of Duty: Black Ops II video game has been released and G+ users are calling it "nothing short of amazing."
The game is due to hit shelves on November 13 and social media users say it "looks very very different than any previous installment of COD" and it's "going to be the video game of the year."
