According to reports the new display will be "very close to a 16:9 screen ratio." The iPhone itself will still have a home button but will feature a much smaller dock connector.

Google's Moog Doodle is getting lots of love from Plussers. The Moog-inspired interactive synthesizer features on Google's home page as a tribute to electronic music pioneer and Moog synthesizer inventor Robert Moog on what would have been his 78th birthday.

People using G+ are petitioning for Doctor Who actor David Tennant to be one of the official Lighters of the Olympic Flame. An online petition, which has so far received more than 37,000 signatures, describes Doctor Who as "part of our national consciousness for almost half a century and of which it can be said, captures the heart of being British more than an other piece of popular culture on television today."
The social network is filling with Doctor Who memes and snippets from the show as people try to keep the #DoctorWho hashtag in the charts.
