LAS VEGAS – Nevada members of Congress say they're shedding campaign contributions they received from an online poker site that's accused of bilking customers.
The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports ( http://bit.ly/qKPxqp) most of the funds from FullTilt Poker board members will go to charities.
Several say they'll also donate contributions from a political action committee funded in part by the company board.
The Review-Journal cites federal records showing Democratic Sen. Harry Reid received $16,800 from FullTilt board members and $8,000 from the Poker Players Alliance PAC.
Records show Republican Sen. Dean Heller received about $9,000 from the two entities.
Democratic Congresswoman Shelley Berkley hasn't specified what she'll do with $40,000 in contributions.
GOP Congressman Joe Heck plans to donate the $1,500 he got from the Poker Players Alliance PAC to Catholic Charities.
